She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Smith and Maude Dills Smith; her former husband Alvin Caudell; her husband Pete Mintz; her great grandchild Cody Wilkes; and her siblings, Arthur, Allen, Emory, Leroy, Harvey, Clyde Smith, Allene Lewallen and Dorothy Garner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Massey, Sherry Hill and Becky Payne; her grandchildren, Chuck Wilkes, Brandy Ward, Meghan Hill, Samantha Hill and Jake Payne; and her great grandchildren, Emily Wilkes, Gracie Ward, Bailey Ward, Skylar Payne and Lily Payne.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethany Christian Church (312 Historic Homer Hwy, Homer, GA 30547). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025.
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Bethany Christian Church.
