She was predeceased by: her parents, Otho Jack and Lola Merck Allen; her husband Rev. Troy Herbert; and her siblings, Roy Allen and Betty Jo Seagraves.
She is survived by: her siblings, James Allen of Homer, Sara Seagraves of Nicholson and Janice Crocker of Homer; and her brother-in-law Weymon Seagraves.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hudson River Baptist Church or Gideons International.
