He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Phillips and Frances Towler Phillips; his brother Keith Phillips; and his brother-in-law Loy Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Reidling Phillips of Commerce; his sons, Cody Phillips (Ruthie Rodriguez) of Lawrenceville and Logan Phillips of Commerce; his granddaughter Aubri; and his sister Tracy Lawrence Richardson (Al) of Monroe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Grace Church (310 B Wilson Rd, Commerce, GA 30529).
