With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leila Turpin Daniel (Commerce, Georgia), who passed away on May 28, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mozelle Holmes and Paul Neese; her daughter Marie Chambers; and her siblings, Odell of Clarence, A. J, Neese, Carol Beck and Polly Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Daniel; her children, Terry Turpin, Tina of Maysville, GA, Cary Turpin, Roxie of Commerce, GA and Cheryl Watkins of Buford, GA; and her sister Barbara Sue Carlan. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Little-Ward Funeral Home (115 State St, Commerce, GA 30529). Viewing will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Diamond Hill Baptist Church (2074 Diamond Hill Church Rd, Maysville, GA 30558). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
