She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Beck and Clara Pruitt Beck; her husband Edward Dorsey Sr.; her son David Dorsey; and her sisters, Elizabeth Waldrop, Mavis Barrett and Ann Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Dorsey Jr., Donald Dorsey, Linda Pressley and Carrie Faye Saxon. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home (1053 S Elm St, Commerce, GA 30529). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Blacks Creek Baptist Church (3754 Blacks Creek Church Rd, Commerce, GA 30530).
