Michael Dale Pitman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Dale Pitman of Commerce, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Pitman and Doris Cook Pitman. He is survived by: his wife Helen Booth Pitman of Commerce; his children, Tonja Beall (Rick) of Kennesaw, Valerie Hatch (Michael) of Nicholson, Malerie Stickel (Paul Dunn) of Nicholson and Tim Pitman of Commerce; and his brothers, Howard Pitman of Loganville, Barry Pitman of Hartwell and Roger Pitman of Hull. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Little-Ward Funeral Home (115 State St, Commerce, GA 30529). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (40 Old Kings Bridge Rd, Nicholson, GA 30565).
