Namon left this world on May 5, 2026 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Namon may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Namon leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parent Jimmie Lou Dale Samples; and his wife Peggy Walker Samples. He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Mathis (Ricky) of Commerce, Valarie Lord (Lowell) of Commerce, Tonia Martin of Jefferson and Jerie Howington (Mark) of Jefferson; and his siblings, Gloria Prater of Nicholson and Terry Samples. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
