She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sister Sara Jo Whitehead; her parents, Howard William and Elizabeth Armstrong Carey; her husband Charles Edward McGill; her son Charles Jason McGill; and her siblings, Ray Carey, Ansel Carey, Shirley Etris and Faye Carey.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home (1053 S Elm St, Commerce, GA 30529). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the Hudson River Baptist Church Cemetery (171 Hudson River Church Rd, Commerce, GA 30530).
