He is survived by: his children, Nathan Ward (Hailey) and Megan Powell (Kevin); his grandchildren, Nolan Powell, Lillian Powell, Silas Ward and Elijah Ward; and his siblings, Tommy Ward, Mary Ann McDonald (Bobby), Glenda Sauls (Bennie), Janet Wood and Judy Murray (Steve).
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home (1053 S Elm St, Commerce, GA 30529). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Banks County Memorial Gardens (219 Oak St, Omega, GA 31775).
