He is survived by: his wife Julia Poole McConnell; his daughters, Rita Smith (Doug Beavers) and Patricia Harrington (Alan); his grandchildren, Gentry Brawner (Cory), Ethan Burton and Emalee Harrington Sosebee (Dustin); his great grandchildren, Dillon Brawner, Ellarae Brawner and Samuel Sosebee; his sisters, Annie Loudermilk (J. W.) and Mable McCallister (Bruce); and his siblings-in-law, JoBeth McConnell, Rachel McNabb, Sandra Poole, Jewel Poole, Linda Chapman (Charles), Kenneth Poole and Johnny Elsner.
