He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Verner Allen and Mozelle Wood Allen; and his siblings, Gene Allen, Louise Fitzpatrick and Shirley Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Martin Allen; his brother James Allen; and his sister-in-law Joan Martin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews, along with many cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home (1053 S Elm St, Commerce, GA 30529). The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Redeemed Baptist Church (805 B Wilson Rd, Commerce, GA 30529). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
