It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willard Cartledge of Commerce, Georgia, who passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Cartledge and Lola Mae Chapman Cartledge; his wife Barbara Annette Greene Cartledge; his son-in-law Larry Fletcher; his grandchildren, Cooper Michael Dean and Finley Grace Dean; and his siblings, Groves H. Cartledge, Annie Blanche Andrews, James V. Cartledge and Paul M. Cartledge.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Fletcher, Billy Cartledge (Donna), Misty Payne, Teresa Nix and Lynn Mott; and his great grandchildren, Russ Fletcher, Bryce Fletcher, Christopher Nix, Joshua Cartledge, Jeremy Cartledge, Timothy Mott, Eli Mott and Corey Mott. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren.
