He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie A. Leonard and Nanie B. Whited. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Leonard; his son Wade Aaron Leonard; his daughter-in-law Laura Leonard; his grandson Roland Leonard; his stepdaughter Kim McBurnett; his granddaughter Makenna Grace Mitchem (Austin Mitchem); his siblings, Phyllis McLean and Willie C. Leonard; and his sister-in-law Tina Leonard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263).
