He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Morris and Hattie Mae Morris; and his siblings, Alice Thomas, Ruby Thomas and Joe Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Morris; his son Bennie Morris Jr. (Karen); and his grandchildren, Bennie James Morris III and Lily Jane Morris.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tara Chapel (681 North Ave, Jonesboro, GA 30236). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kennedy Memorial Gardens (2500 River Rd, Ellenwood, GA 30294).
