He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Moore and Ethellen Moore; and his daughter-in-law Kathy Moore. He is survived by : his wife Shirley Mae Moore; his sons, Kenny Moore, Curtis (Nancy Moore) and Douglas (Andrea Moore); and his siblings, Carl J. Moore and Charlotte Myczkowski. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hydes Chapel Baptist Church (1630 W Hightower Trail, Conyers, GA 30012). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at the Green Meadow Memorial Gardens (677 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012).
