David, born on June 26, 1953 in Paterson, New Jersey, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Evans and Lee Evans. He is survived by: his wife Paula; his children, Paul Evans (Tracey) of St. Petersburg, FL, Matthew Evans (Abby) of Gainesville, GA and Dianna Halabi (Saleem) of Lawrenceville, GA; his sisters, Nancy Evans Reinert and Debbie Velez; and his in-laws, Judy Morton, Bucko Morton, Allen Cole and Jerry Velez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime family friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wheeler Funeral & Cremation Services. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation in Dave's memory.
