He is survived by: his wife Julie Ann Church Nichols of Conyers; his daughters, Jennifer Nichols Barnes (Jarrod) of Birmingham and Ashley Elizabeth Nichols of Atlanta; his siblings, Robert Hames Nichols (Mary) of Gainesville and Susan Nichols Joslin (Danny) of Clarkesville; and his granddaughters, Lola Rose Barnes and Celia Kate Barnes of Birmingham. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clarkesville First Methodist Church (1087 Washington St, Clarkesville, GA 30523). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
