With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edith G. Rouse of Conyers, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2024 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin Wood and Mamie Wood; her husband James Rouse; and her daughters, Melva Jane Rouse and Lisa Ann Evans.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sara Gower of Conyers and Jenny Schramm of Conyers; and her grandchildren, Amber Cross, Joey Rouse, Jeremy Gower, John Schramm and James Evans.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Historic Red Oak Church (15105 GA-36, Covington, GA 30014). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at the Historic Red Oak Church Cemetery (15105 GA-36, Covington, GA 30014).
