She was predeceased by: her mother Catherine Dorsey; her uncle Dea; her husband Avorn Stroud; her daughter Pamela James; and her grandchildren, Christopher and Daniella.

She is survived by: her daughters, Buffie Hammond (Moses) and Lawonda Stroud; her grandchildren, Demarcus, Jatonio and Cameron; her sons-in-law, Dexter James and Moses Hammond; her sister Audrey Thomas; her brother-in-law Horace Stroud; and her goddaughters, Lisa Rouhlac and Roxanne Foster. She is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George W. Levett Sr. and Sons Funeral Home Inc. (1299 Milstead Ave, Conyers, GA 30012). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bald Rock Baptist Church (2284 Old Covington Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012).
