It is with sadness that the passing of Janet Delaine Thorne of Conyers, Georgia is shared. Janet, born on September 27, 1960, passed away on September 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Swann and Faye Swann. She is survived by: her husband Leonard T. Thorne Jr.; her children, Tommy Thorne (Tara) of Carrollton, Charley Thorne (Lisa) of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Jimmy Thorne (Brittny) of Loganville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Owen, Elliot, Lily, Emily, Wesley, Ellasyn, Lucas, Adeline, Noah and Elizabeth; her brother Chris Swann; her nephew Joel; and her niece Sadie Swann. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, brother, niece and nephew, extended family, church family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (1233 Pleasant Hill Rd NW, Conyers, GA 30012). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (1233 Pleasant Hill Rd NW, Conyers, GA 30012).
