He is survived by: his son John Michael Cunard Jr.; his siblings, Linda Parker, Patricia Haliburton, Faye Leonard, Sally Hornsby and Paul "Doug" (Jennifer); and his sister-in-law Lynda Cunard.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Rockdale Community Church (2455 Old Salem Rd SE, Conyers, GA 30013).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Gideons International Henry County Georgia camp to purchase Bibles in the memory of John M. Cunard.
