She was predeceased by: her husband James Alton Shaw; her son George Lamar Shaw; her parents, Joseph Thompson and Valley Thompson; and her siblings, Mary Nell Young, Daisy Lucille Shaw, JT Thompson, Bill Thompson and Broadus Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret L. Baldwin, James R Shaw, Ruby Chandler (Jerry), Helen E. Melton (Ricky) and Janice Cooper; her grandchildren, Michael Kent, Amanda Flowers (Mark), Thomas Baldwin (Christy), Margene Baldwin (Steve Shema), Jennifer Hart (Beau) and Joseph Lawson; and her great grandchildren, Avery Hart, Allissa Hart, Addison Hart, Lexy Hendrix, Joseph Flowers, Donald Flowers, CJ Salcido, Alex Salcido, Kaylee Baldwin and Luke Baldwin.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Green Meadow Memorial Gardens (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (1233 Pleasant Hill Rd NW, Conyers, GA 30013). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at the Sodom Cemetery.
