She was predeceased by: her parents, Alpha Shipp and James Shipp; her husband Edward A. Thomas Jr.; her daughter Mary Theresa Mays-Albanese; her brother James; and her sister-in-law Nancy Shipp.
She is survived by: her children, Alex, Rebecca Heim (Steve), Anna Karls (Russell) and Edward A. Thomas, III (Denise); her grandchildren, Gregory Heim (Annie), Rachel Heim Rockwell (James), Richie Mays, Nolan Mays (Mackenzie), Amy Mays Antonelli (Brian) and Audrey Glasgow (Michael Savage); her great grandchildren, Allison, Lauren, Luke, Beau, Mary Claire, Elizabeth, Joseph, Samantha, Anna and Simeon; and her sibling's children, Chuck, David, Andy and Laura Shipp. She is also survived by children; and many other family members and close friends.
