With solemn reverence, we commemorate Nancy Ann Markovich in Conyers, Georgia, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on December 24, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her mother Marjorie Ann McLynn Abbott; her adoptive father Norman Oliver Abbott; and her brother Jonathan Ransom Abbott. She is survived by: her grandsons, Christopher Reid Henderson, Jonathan Miles Nuri Henderson, Edward Andrew Robert Barber and Matthew William Presley Barber; her sisters, Susan Abbott-Jamieson and Molly Abbott Cavanaugh (Pat Cavanaugh); her nieces, Heather K. Long and Katie Elliscue; her sister Sally Foster Abbott (Jose Antonio Posada) of Posada; her nephew Demetrio Abbott Posada; and her nieces, Olivia Abbott Posada and Bianca Abbott Posada. She is also survived by her daughter: her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

For much of her life, Nancy served faithfully within the Baháʼí Faith, including seven years of service in Haifa, where she is especially remembered for her contribution to the building project of the Baháʼí World Center on Mount Carmel.
