He is survived by: his wife Ging Johnson; his son Ken; his daughter-in-law Sheila Johnson; his daughter Kellie Johnson; his grandchildren, Kristyn, Trevor Mitchell, Katie Johnson, Kensley Johnson, Kaley Lowery, Kason Nash, Lauren Cherry and Bailey Cherry; his great grandchildren, Waylon, Brady, Blakely and Kason; his siblings, Jaquelen Sheppard and Sandra Johnson; and his nieces and nephews, Randy, Chris, Denise, Andrea, Barry, Doug and Kristen.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012). A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the East View Cemetery (1127 Eastview Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012).
