With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Abbott of Conyers, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, H. Jackson Bishop and Martha Bishop; her husband Dale Waddell; her daughter Shannon Bement Majsztrik (John) of Anderson; her stepchildren, DeDe Abbott Kirkwood (Richard) of Conyers, Matthew Abbott of Conyers and Tonya Waddell of Savannah; her siblings, Stanley Bishop (Andrea), Barry Bishop (Gail), Bonita Long and Cheryl Mauldin (Dale); her grandchildren, Samuel, Grissom and Elaina Majsztrik; her siblings, Vince, Justin Kirkwood, Ryan Waddell, Jordan Phillips, Shelby Ringle, Blake, Kiersten and Aiden Douberly; her great grandchildren, Tiffany Lustenberger and Jayden Waddell; and her friend Phillip Ralston. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Scot Ward Funeral Services (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012).
