She was predeceased by: her father William Lafayette Patterson; and her son Matthew Wilkerson. She is survived by: her son Mark; her daughters-in-law, Dawn Wilkerson of Cordele and Jennifer West Wilkerson; her sister Cynthia Brannen of Cordele; her grandchildren, Christian Wilkerson (Kelly), Jordan Wilkerson, Angel Wilkerson, Emma Wilkerson, Grace Wilkerson and Abby Wilkerson; her great grandchild Matthew Tyler Wilkerson; her niece Kimberly Adkins; and her nephews, Chris Flynn (Amanda) of Cordele, Colby Flynn of Alberta, Justin Flynn of Cordele and Korey Penney of Cordele. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandson.
