We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2025, at the age of 24, Bailey Barfield (Cordele, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Bailey may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Patsy B. Gilbert, James Barfield and Mickey "Hotwire" Whitehead. He is survived by: his parents, David Barfield and Stacey Gilbert Barfield; and his grandparents, Billy Gilbert, Elizabeth Harden Barfield, Debbie "Smurf" Whitehead, Jerry and Elaine Odom.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hughes & Wright Funeral Home (1010 E 8th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Gilbert Farm (970 Gilbert Rd, Vienna, GA 31092).
