She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence B. Patrick and Zimmie Pearl Wright Patrick; her husband James Edward Hicks II; her sisters, Hilda Bradley and Maxine Brannen; and her grandson Samuel James Forrister.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Taylor of Cobb, Tim Taylor (Jeanne) of Dallas and Anna Cavender (Chris) of Cobb; her grandchildren, Timothy Phillip Taylor of Denver, Ruth Evelyn, Mason Chester of Acworth, Tucker Patrick Taylor of Marietta, Jessie Dawn Taylor of Macon, Amy Ann Marie Taylor of Columbus, Aaron Marshal Taylor of Dallas, Leighanna and Brett Duffy of Marietta; and her great grandchildren, Michael Lamar Duffy and Christopher Duffy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lakeview Baptist Church (472 Flintside Dr, Cobb, GA 31735). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Lakeview Baptist Church, 472 Flintside Dr, Cobb, GA 31735.
