He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel E. Calhoun and Lois Brown Calhoun; and his siblings, Thomas Edward Calhoun, Virginia M. Spradley and Patrick Calhoun.
He is survived by: his uncle Carlie; and his siblings, Leon Calhoun of Centerville and Barbara Schmauzer of Fairburn. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hughes & Wright Funeral Home (1010 E 8th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oklahoma Baptist Church at 858 Oklahoma Church Road, Cordele, Georgia 31015.
