He is survived by: his wife Pegg Raines Dodgen McCardel of Cordele; his daughters, Mary McCardel Tinseth (John) of Macon and Martha McCardel Hinderleider (Mike) of Lawrenceville, Georgia; his sister Rosa McCardel Martin of Columbus; his grandchildren, Alan Hinderleider (Jen), Ashley Hinderleider of Atlanta, Molly Cooper (Logan) and Trey Estes of Statesboro, Georgia.; and his nieces and nephews, Doug Martin of Columbus, Jenni Khamis (Younan) of Columbus, Melissa Stone (Patrick) of Byron, Georgia, Darrell Raines (Kathy) of Ellijay, Georgia, Scotty Raines of Cordele and Kyle Raines of Cordele.
