She is survived by: her husband Johnny Mathis Sr.; her sons, Christopher Mathis (Tonya) and Johnny Mathis, Jr. (Jessica); her siblings, Marilyn Mance (Sidney) and Kenneth T. Solomon; her aunts, Annie Ruth Livingston and Alma Solomon; her mother-in-law Vickie Mae Mathis of Desoto, Georgia; her siblings-in-law, Rena Watts, Adelle Talley (Shay), Lucy McKenzie, Mary Thomas (William), Ruthie King (Greg), Linda Hawkins (Walter), Bobby Mathis and Henry Mathis (Beverly); her grandchildren, Neisha Mathis and Ashya Mathis; and her great grandchildren, Michael Mathis and Kyrie Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (104 Packing House Rd, Americus, GA 31709).
