He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Clyde Hickox and Lindsey Shirley Gibbs Hickox; and his brother Joel Hickox. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Hickox of Cordele; his children, Joel Dennis Hickox of Cordele and Lesli Gatliff of Cordele; his brother Allen Hickox (Julia) of Cordele; his aunt Sharon Timmons of Cordele; his nieces, Julia Donohue (Matthew) of Cynthiana and Kristin Cook (Joseph) of Cordele; his great-nephew Julian Donohue of Cynthiana, Kentucky; his great-nieces, Aurora Lambert of Cordele, Luna Lambert of Cordele and Mana Thomas of Leesburg, Georgia.; his sisters-in-law, Carol Goodman of Georgia and Reneé Spartin of Georgia; and his pet Angel.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hughes & Wright Funeral Home, Inc. (1010 E 8th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 133 Emmaus Road, Cordele, GA 31015.
