She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Hayes and Christell Hayes; her siblings, Rebecca Walker, Patrica Ann Pope, Naomi Wallace, Johnny June, Reverend Jim Hayes, Jr. and Alphonso Hayes; and her granddaughter Sa'Niyah Lofton.
She is survived by: her son William Tyson (Erica) of Fayetteville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Jarquavius Tyson, Marquavius Tyson of Fayetteville and Deeyazman Tyson of Griffin, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Christian Tyson, Caiden Tyson, A'Yonni Amporful, Aysia Amporful, A'Vonni Amrporful and A'Ria Amporful; and her siblings, Alonza Hayes (Lillie) of Cordele, Reverend Richard Hayes (Felecia) of Cordele, Willie Fred Hayes (Felecia) of Americus, Georgia and Mary Fegins of Fairburn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home (407 17th Ave W, Cordele, GA 31015). Everyone entering the funeral home for visitation or services is required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
