He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mongin Burt, Sr. and Elizabeth Johnson Burt; and his sister Wanda Mulligan. He is survived by: his wife Susu Williams Burt; his children, Daphne Burt (Craig Wong), Jim Burt (Mary-Frances Burt) and Jonathan Burt; and also Steve Burt (Sally Burt). He is also survived by his family, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (619 15th Ave E, Cordele, GA 31015).
