He was predeceased by: his mother Joann Maddox; and his brother Tony Sanders, Sr.. He is survived by: his father John Thomas Sanders, Jr. of Rebecca; his wife Jo Sanders of Cordele; his daughters, Melinda Platt (Miles) of Cordele and Heather Sanders of Cordele; his siblings, Ricky Sanders, David Sanders, Billy Mike Sanders of Cordele, Sheila Stokes of Vienna, Georgia, Tina Lewis and Teresa Earnest of Rebecca; his stepmother Glenda Sanders of Rebecca; his sister-in-law Jennifer Hudson Watson of Cordele; and his nephew William "D. J." Hudson. He is also survived by other nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hughes & Wright Funeral Home, Inc. (1010 E 8th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
