He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Burton Cook, Sr. and Ann Pittman Cook; and his brother Kenneth Burton Cook, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Diane Cook; his children, Lynn Stathis (Sonny) of Greensboro and Mac Cook (Pam) of Cordele; his grandchildren, Laura Lyn Fuller (Bryant), Jessica Garten, Anna Cook Farmer (Dylan), Amanda Garten and Barry Garten; his great grandchildren, Olan Bryant Fuller V and Ruby Anne Farmer; and his caregivers, Rita Smith Boozer, Jerry Blackshear and Les Gilbert.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cordele First Church (302 E 12th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015).
