He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Gunter and Lula Banks Gunter; his sisters, Betty Musselwhite and Lura Gunter Dooly; his grandson Jeremy Dylan Sponseller; his stepgrandson Joshua "Big Kuntry" Grandas; his nephews, Micki Fedorovicz, Ricky Musselwhite and Bobby Orr; and his daughter Retha Hollingsworth.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherrie Gunter Sprinkel; his son-in-law Rodney of Cordele; his grandson Brandon Lee Sponseller of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; his nieces, Regina Cornelison, Lisa Odom and Tia Hester; and his family Deidre Hyatt.
In accordance with Kenneth's wishes, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, 3651 Wheeler Road, Augusta, Georgia 30909.
