She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Pate Lowery and Mammie Esther Burnette Lowery; her husband Rev. Bobby Lee Sheffield; her son Michael Shane Sheffeld; her siblings, John William "Jay" Lowery, Mac Lowery, Lucille Ogilvie, Jennett H. Sparkman and Maxine Freeman; her daughter-in-law Bonita Sheffield Bowers; and her great grandchild Nathan Hadley.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lee Sheffield (Betty) of Bay Minette, AL, Dennis Wayne Sheffield (Nancy) of Covington, GA and Laurie Anne Sheffield of McComb, MS; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Adams (Jason), Stephen Sheffield (Gina), Michelle Webb (Benny), Micah Sheffield (Susan), Jerrod Sheffield (Brandi), Shane Sheffield (Tamara), Stacey Sheffield (Kerri), Justin Sheffield (Maggie), Chance Wilson, Brian Wilson and Amanda Wilson. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
