It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Bowers Stith of Cordele, Georgia, born in Greenville, Mississippi, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Matthew Burstein; her parents, Andy Bowers and Marjorie Bowers; and her siblings, Billy Bowers, Gay Felts and Angie Kirby.
She is survived by: her daughter Ashley Sims (Trae); her grandsons, James and Jack Sims; her siblings-in-law, Rod Felts, Bob Kirby and Karen Bowers of Montgomery, AL; and her sibling's children, Alison Felts, David Kirby (Leslie), Andy Felts (Malinda), John Bowers (Catherine), Jason Bowers (Amanda) and Judd Bowers.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Crisp Academy Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy who will be working on a project to raise additional funds for the Alzheimer's Association, in the hope that one day no family will have to endure the pain of this devastating disease.
