She was predeceased by: her husband Tony LaPorte; and her brother Dr. Charles Greer. She is survived by: her sons, Anthony LaPorte, Jr. and Charles Greer LaPorte, Sr. (Eva Jo); her grandchildren, Trae LaPorte (Sherry), Charlie LaPorte (Heather), Elizabeth LaPorte Jones (Chad) and Suzanne LaPorte; and her sister-in-law Angie Greer. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Rainey Funeral Services (1415 E 24th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sunnyside Cemetery (900 E 8th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015).
