Though Mary Maxey may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Maxey touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Maxey and Annie Bragg Maxey; her husband Arvol Ladell Partain; and her son John Partain. She is survived by: her sons, Ken Partain (Julie) of Arabi and Delwin Partain (Beverly) of Cordele, Georgia.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Hope Annex Cemetery.
