We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025, at the age of 96, Mother Lenora McNeal of Cordele, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Walker and Ila Lee Hammond; and her siblings, Manuel Smith, Sheyron Laster and Andre Haywood.
She is survived by: her children, Ruby Holder (Johnny) of Melbourne, Florida, Carolyn Clark (Willie) of Winter Haven, Florida, Missionary Gwen Relaford (Deacon Wallace) of Cordele, Georgia, Vivian Evone Fullwood of Knoxville, Tennessee, Bevelyn Brown (Donald) of Cordele, Georgia, Vickie Haynes (Alvin) of Jacksonville, Florida and Bridgett Thompson (Roy) of Winter Haven, Florida; her stepchildren, John Laster (Earlene) of Drayton, Georgia, Annie Smith of Vienna, Georgia, Edgar Laster, Jr. of Columbus, Georgia and Stephanie Smith; her grandchildren, Greg Relaford and Mona Harrison; her godchildren, Nikki Johnson Green, Kenneth Smith, Judy Oliver, Rosia West, Ilene Payne and Cordele Institutional; her nieces, Mother Lillie Mathis of Cordele, Georgia, Nora Pearl Barnes of Cleveland, Ohio and Norma Mathis of Orlando, Florida; and her close friend Mother Naomi Stubbs of Cordele. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cordele Institutional Church of God in Christ (201 17th Ave E, Cordele, GA 31015).
