She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar McKinney Slade, Sr. and Catherine Brown Slade; her husband Dr. O. K. Coleman; and her brothers, Bucky Slade and Richmond Slade.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathie Fallin (David) of Cordele, Marcia Hawley (Randy) of Mooresville, NC. and Melinda Cannuci (Sal) of St. Augustine, FL.; her brother Russell Slade (Connie) of Cordele; her sisters-in-law, Wanda Slade of Atlanta and Nancy Slade of Vienna; her grandchildren, Eric Norris, Adam Norris (Amanda), Keri Smith (Stephen), Rett Hawley, Shellie Mahan (Brian), Miranda Sterling (Misty), Megan Cason (Carl) and Mallory Newell (Shawn Martin); and her great grandchildren, Evelyn Norris, Slade Smith, Phenn Smith, Carl Cason and Brooklynn Martin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rainey Family Funeral Service Chapel (1415 E 24th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
