He was predeceased by: his former wife Sheila Y. Brown; and his parents, Julia W. Cooke and Harry J. Cooke. He is survived by: his son Michael J Cooke of Cordele; and his siblings, Robert B. Cooke (Karen), Kathryn Cooke Davidson (David) and David Cooke (Lee). He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
