With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sonia L. Green of Cordele, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2025 at the age of 50. As Sonia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sonia. Though Sonia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the J. W. Williams Funeral Home, Inc. (407 W 17th Ave E, Cordele, GA 31015). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Zion First African Baptist Church (203 12th St S, Cordele, GA 31015).
