He was predeceased by: his parents, Deacon Charles Roy (Ray, Sr.) and Mother Luecinda Barrett Ray; and his brother Deacon Godfrey Ray. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Deriso Ray; his children, Angela Buckholts (Dennis) of Pinehurst, Bobby Ray (Timico) of Cordele, Missionary Anquaria Coney of Vero Beach and LaShunda Coley of Perry; his siblings, Josephine Knight of Palm Bay, Nelsa Singleton of Palm Bay, Betty Brown of Jacksonville, Marilyn Harper of Cordele, Dr. Jennifer Ray of Savannah, Georgia, Reverend Lorenda Ray (Fannie Pollock) of Cordele and Deacon Ronnie Ray (Minister Sheryl) of Cordele, Georgia; and his sister-in-law Brenda Ray of Moultrie, Georgia. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
