It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Shepard (Cordele, Georgia), who passed away on September 5, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Annie Clyde Collins Shephard and Vernon Shepard; his wife Linda Ford Shepard of Cordele; his children, Brian Shepard (Debbie) of Jacksonville, Fla., Bruce Shepard (Kristen) of Bella Vista, Ark and Laurie Shepard (Lynne) of Cumming; his brother Bobbie Shepard (Susan) of Albany; his grandchildren, Lindsey Mathews (Brett), Emily Gatton (Richard), Lauren Liston (Taylor), Ashley Bradley (Joseph), Haley Hardman (Nick), Matthew Shepard, Gavin Shepard and Jadyn Shepard; and his great grandchild Peyton Liston.
