She was predeceased by: her parents, Dawson Lathan and Dorothy Cash Lathan; her husband James Edward Gosnell; her siblings, E. J. Lathan, Carl Lathan and Valerie Galloway (Donald); and her brother-in-law Eugene Allen.
She is survived by: her sons, Ricky Lathan (Malinda) and John Eric Gosnell (Anita Bradshaw); her grandchildren, Brandon Douglas Lathan (Angela), Johnathan Gosnell (Kalea) and Amy Gosnell Duerr; her great grandchildren, Aubree Lathan, Kaelynn Lathan, Lucas Duerr and Samuel Bailey; her sister Louise Allen; and her sisters-in-law, Sarah Lathan and Mildred Lathan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Yonah Memorial Gardens (255 US-441 BUS, Demorest, GA 30535).
