Norton and Lillie Mae Smith Norton; his children, Leah Norton, Myra Norton Benfield (Doug) and Charles Baynes Norton (Paran); his grandchildren, Kendrick Simmons, Gracyn Benfield and Merci Benfield; and his siblings, Reggie Norton (Penny), Eugene Norton, Tony Norton (Cindy), Edna Lawson (late Forest) and Ellen Browning (late Alan).
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 885 Alto-Mud Creek Rd, Alto, GA 30510.
